In 1978, after spending his early years with Dr. Robert Anderson in Lakeville, Dr. Bob Blomquist established his own optometric clinic in the heart of downtown Apple Valley. Beginning in a small, 'one doctor-one exam room' space on Granada Avenue at 147th Street, the practice grew steadily, thanks in part to incredible patient loyalty. By 1985 the clinic doubled in size. Dr. Pat Wellik joined the practice in 1996 and it became apparent the clinic could no longer be contained on Granada Avenue.
