Minnesota artist Lisa Omodt's love of art and clothes began at an early age. With the guidance of her grandmother she was creating and designing her own clothes at age 10. This passion continued throughout her college years achieving a two year certificate in fashion merchandising and a four year degree in design from the University of Minnesota. Her passion is now a business named "Artgarbs." Using clothing as her canvas, Lisa custom creates her own palette of styles and colors. She freehand paints each garment individually with textile paints that are machine washable. Her designs are of original concept and are themes for life's play and titled appropriately. Each garment bears her signature and are produced in limited quantity with new collections every season.
