| David Burley and Stephanie Shimp met in 1992 while employed at the Nicollet Island Inn on the Minneapolis riverfront. David grew up in Western Australia with his family in the hotel/pub business. “I always wanted to be in business for myself, my dad never had a real boss and that looked pretty good to me”. So when David saw a small café for sale on Cleveland Avenue in Saint Paul, they jumped at it. |
