The Emily Program is an outpatient treatment program that provides comprehensive psychological, nutritional, and medical care for individuals with eating disorders. Unhealthy attitudes towards body size can begin to interrupt a person's thought patterns and lead to an obsessive concern about food and weight. These concerns can lead to one of the following eating disorders: Anorexia Nervosa Bulimia Nervosa Compulsive Overeating/Binge Eating Disorder Fortunately, eating disorders can be managed and successfully treated. With a clear sense of the problem, the shame and secrecy associated with the eating disorder can be eliminated. Treatment can help restore a positive self-image, improved self-esteem, and hope for the future.
